29 CFR 1926.451(g)(2): The employer did not provide fall protection for employees erecting or dismantling supported scaffolds: location: scaffold above North staging area, 240 E. 172 St. Bronx NY on or about: 3/5/20 a) An employee was standing on a tubular welded scaffold frame, while securing down debris netting. The employee, who was not provided with fall protection, was exposed to a fall of 88 feet. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
