29 CFR 1910.23(b)(9): Ladders are inspected before initial use in each work shift, and more frequently as necessary, to identify any visible defects that could cause employee injury: The employer is failing to ensure that employees are protected from fall hazards. This was most recently documented on or about February 20, 2020 in the Uniloy room of the Hiland Dairy plant located at 2901 Cuming Street, Omaha, NE 68131. One set of slip resistant feet were missing on a 8-ft step ladder utilized by employees to remove jams in the overhead plastic container production line.
