29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) On or about 01/25/2020 - Big Rubber Room, employees were exposed to caught-in hazards when the point of operation and pinch-point hazards were not guarded at the twelve (12) hydraulic rubber molding press machines also known as bumper plate mold machines. (b) On or about 02/03/2020 - Small Rubber Room, employees were exposed to caught-in hazards when the point of operation and pinch-point hazards were not guarded at the six (6) hydraulic rubber molding press machines also known as bumper plate mold machines. (c) On or about 02/03/2020 - Small Rubber Room, employees were exposed to caught-in hazards when the rotating parts where not guarded at the stationary mixer.
