29 CFR 1926.451(b)(5)(ii): The end of a platform greater than 10 feet in length extended over its support more than 18 inches and the platform was not designed and installed so that the cantilevered portion of the platform is able to support employees without tipping, or has guardrails which block employee access to the cantilivered end. a) Worksite, 57 Glenmore Ave, Montauk NY, West Side of Building - Employees were performing cedar shake siding installation work from a fabricated frame scaffold platform approximately 20-feet above the ground with a plank extended approximately 9-feet beyond the support; on or about 01/24/2020. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
