29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about January 16, 2020, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 14 feet while performing framing activity on a residential home located at 7670 Strausser St. NW North Canton OH 44720. The employees were working on all areas of the roof and the employer did not ensure that they were using fall protection. The David Troyer Construction LTD was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) Duty to have fall protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1148509, citation number 1, item number 02 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/27/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 779 White Pond Dr, Akron, Ohio 44320. David Troyer Construction LTD was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1336512, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/16/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 1255 Longshadow Ave NW, North Canton, Ohio 44720.
