29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. At the jobsite located at 10531 113th West St. Building 4 in Overland Park, Kansas. An employee engaged in repair activities waterproofing the West side windows of building 4 was exposed to fall hazards from approximately forty feet to the ground below. An employee working on suspended scaffold was not trained to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards.
