29 CFR 1926.24: The employer shall be responsible for the development and maintenance of an effective fire protection and prevention program at the job site throughout all phases of the construction, repair, alteration, or demolition work. The employer shall ensure the availability of the fire protection and suppression equipment required by Subpart F of this part. Building 7, 225 Locust St., Woburn, MA On or about October 16, 2019, the employer failed to provide fire-extinguishing equipment for type A, B or C fires during the construction of a wood frame residential building, storage areas of 5-gallon gasoline cans and gasoline-powered equipment, and energized electrical cords and power tool operations.
