29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a. On or about October 1, 2019, Production Line #1, employees were exposed to unguarded rotating/moving parts and ingoing nip points at the collection wheels. b. On or about October 1, 2019, Production Line #2, employees were exposed to unguarded rotating/moving parts and ingoing nip points at the roll stands. c. On or about October 7, 2019, Production Line #2, employees were exposed to unguarded rotating/moving parts and ingoing nip points at the wrapper. d. On or about October 7, 2019, Production Line #2, employees were exposed to unguarded rotating/moving parts and ingoing nip points at the collection wheels. e. On or about November 25, 2019, Production Line #2, employees were exposed to unguarded rotating/moving parts and ingoing nip points at the collection wheels.
