29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer shall ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l). The employer is failing to protect employees from a struck by hazard when operating forklifts, powered industrial truck. This has most recently documented on or about August 30, 2019 at Pomp's Tire Service at 4101 West O Street, Lincoln, NE 68528. An employee operating powered industrial trucks had not successfully completed the training required by paragraph (l) of the standard.
