29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a. In the dryer row, on or about 8/28/2019: An employee was cleaning lint from a Braun 500PT-NFG industrial dryer on which lockout/tagoout procedures were not being utilized. The employee suffered fatal injuries when the upper portion of the dryer descended on him. b. In the dryer row, on or about 8/28/2019: An employee was cleaning lint from a Braun 500PT-NFG industrial dryer in the vicinity of two robotic shuttles on which lockout/tagout procedures were not being utilized.
