29 CFR 1910.1025(d)(3)(ii): Monitoring for the initial determination did not include employees exposed to the greatest airborne concentrations of lead in the workplace. On or about August 28, 2019, the employer had not conducted an initial determination of the greatest airborne concentrations for employees exposed to lead in the workplace, including the furnace operators, furnace tenders and the spin operators. In the alternative: 29 CFR 1910.1025(d)(7): Additional exposure monitoring was not conducted when there was a change in production, process, control or personnel, or any other reason to suspect a change that may have resulted in new or additional exposure to lead: On or about August 28, 2019, the employer had not conducted additional exposure monitoring when there was a change in production, including higher percentage lead alloys manufactured, which may have resulted in additional exposure to lead.
