29 CFR 1910.136(a): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses protective footwear when working in areas where there was a danger of foot injuries due to falling or rolling objects, or objects piercing the sole, or when the use of protective footwear will protect the affected employee from an electrical hazard, such as a static-discharge or electric-shock hazard, that remains after the employer takes other necessary protective measures: At 8502 Mid County Industrial Court, St. Louis, Missouri, specifically inside of the Liquid Line Department, operators of the Gorbel Monorail Underhung Crane, s/n A84909, were not provided with a suitable, steel-toed boots when lifting coils of copper tubing onto stock feeders. The height of these stock feeders was approximately 77 inches above the concrete floor. This violation was noted on 08/02/19.
