29 CFR 1926.28(a): The employer is responsible for requiring the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment in all operations where there is an exposure to hazardous conditions or where this part indicates the need for using such equipment to reduce the hazards to the employees. 72 Grove St. Winchester, MA On or about July 2, 2019, employees were exposed being struck in the head by tools and construction materials, and exposed to projectiles while operating pneumatic nail guns. Instance A: Employees installing roofing material using pneumatic nail guns without eye and face protection. Instance B: Three employees working on the ground under roof stripping and shingle installation without head protection.
