29 CFR 1910.95(g)(6): At least annually after obtaining the baseline audiogram, the employer did not obtain a new audiogram for each employee exposed at or above an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels : a. On or about June 18, 2018, a noise dosimeter (ESN070247) was placed on an employee working on freezer center 1 for a total of 474 minutes. The employee was exposed to noise at 94.7% of the permissible daily noise exposure level (8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 90 dBA or equivalently, a dose of 100%), with an equivalent time-weighted average sound level of 89.6 dBA. Exposure calculations include a zero increment for the 6 minutes not sampled. The employer failed to obtain annual audiograms for employees exposed above the action level (8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 dBA or equivalently, a dose of 50%). b. On or about June 18, 2018, a noise dosimeter (ESN070250) was placed on an employee working on the FReal line for a total of 473 minutes. The employee was exposed to noise at 80.3% of the permissible daily noise exposure level, (8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 90 dBA or equivalently, a dose of 100%) with an equivalent time-weighted average sound level of 88.4 dBA. Exposure calculations include a zero increment for the 7 minutes not sampled. The employer failed to obtain annual audiograms for employees exposed above the action level of 85 decibels (8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 dBA or equivalently, a dose of 50%).
