29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes were not kept free and unobstructed. Materials or equipment were placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. In the stock room, the employer did not ensure that the exit route was kept clear and unobstructed from merchandise and other materials exposing employees to injuries in the event of an emergency. a. On or about May 10, 2019, and times prior thereto, the exit route was blocked with boxes, merchandise, and product carts (U-boats). b. On or about August 23, 2019, and times prior thereto, the exit route was blocked with boxes, merchandise, product carts (U-boats), and a manual conveyor on wheels. Havana Street, Unit 23, Aurora, CO 80012; and Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1017821, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 9, 2015, with a final abatement date of November 4, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 630 Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst, NY 11757.
