29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. On or about the 90-day period of Feb. 1, 2019 - May 1, 2019, located at a commercial jobsite, an employee was operating a JLG 460SJ articulating boom lift that had not been instructed on the applicable procedures and/or regulations to minimize those hazards while performing this work.
