29 CFR 1926.1417(w): A tag or restraint line must be used if necessary to prevent rotation of the load that would be hazardous. On or about April 25, 2019, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to struck-by hazard while carrying pipes that were 74 feet long with a CAT 572R Pipelayer (SN: KJL00674) without a tag line to prevent swinging.
