29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more machine guarding were not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying, chips and sparks: (a) This violation occurred on or about April 18, 2019, at a workplace located at 2222 Lonnecker Drive, Garland, TX in the Hot Melt department, where employees using an air hose to clean the rotating part inside the Kraton Grinder (grater) were exposed to an amputation hazard.
