29 CFR 1910.37(b)(4): Signs were not posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge when the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge was not immediately apparent: a)Aruvil International, Inc. Southeast corner of warehouse: The existing sign located in the southeast corner was directing travel in the opposite direction of the emergency exit door, on or about 5/2/19. b)Aruvil International, Inc. Northeast corner of warehouse: There was no exit sign in the northeast corner of the warehouse that indicated the location of the nearest exit, on or about 5/2/19. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
