29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: On or about April 15, 2019, employees in the stockroom were exposed to hazards associated with improperly stored fire extinguishers where the following deficiencies found included, but were not limited to: a) Fire extinguisher was blocked by boxes and was not properly marked. b) Fire extinguisher was blocked by boxes and other material. Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1084718, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/22/15, with respect to a workplace located at 7227 S.R. 54 New Port Richey, Florida 34653. Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1084718, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/27/13, with respect to a workplace located at 1400 Oakland Ave., Cranston RI 02920.
