29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye: a) At the TW House Postal Station, where the employer did not report the hospitalization of an employee within the twenty-four hour requirement. An employee was hospitalized on December 21, 2018, after falling on the pavement in a commercial strip center parking lot. The hospitalization was not reported to OSHA until January 14, 2019. U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1288391, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 8, 2018 with respect to a workplace located at 6450 Kings Highway, Zionsville, Pennsylvania. U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1286249, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 30, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 1250 Smile Way, York, Pennsylvania. U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1142554, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 20, 2016 with respect to a workplace located at 87-67 116th Street, Richmond Hill, New York.
