29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Upper Building, Maintenance, on or about 1/14/19: Milwaukee magnetic drill was used without a chuck guard, thereby exposing the operator to contact with the rotating chuck and serrated tooling. b) Lower Building, Maintenance, on or about 10/17/18: Porter Cable drill press was not equipped with a chuck guard, thereby exposing the operator to contact with the rotating chuck and serrated tooling.
