29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means: a) 540 Highway 138 Riverdale, GA, Aerial Lift Truck: On or about December 3, 2018, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to electrical shock hazards, in that the employer did not ensure employees who worked in close proximity to 3-phase, (approximately 7500 volts), power lines were provided the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) or barriers to prevent accidental contact with high voltage power lines when installing fiber optics on multi-purpose utility poles.
