29 CFR 1910.151(c): The employer did not provide suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body within the work area for immediate emergency use where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials: Battery Section, 15190 Veteran Memorial Pkwy, Wentzville: Employer is exposing employees to hazardous conditions. The employees are permitted to handle leaking batteries where they are exposed to injurious corrosive battery acid without facilities for flushing of the eyes within the work area. On 10/31/2018 employees were observed handling lead batteries without any quick drenching and eye flushing facilities in the work area.
