29 CFR 1910.178(n)(6): Industrial truck drivers were not required to look in the direction of, and keep a clear view of the path of travel: a) On or about 10/26/2018, at the establishment - 47-47 Metropolitan Ave, Maspeth, NY An operator was driving a forklift out of a truck trailer he was loading with a pallet of beer on when the truck rolled away from the loading dock, causing the forklift to fall to the ground with the operator. The operator was not looking in direction of travel while reversing out of the truck. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
