29 CFR 1910.107(b)(5)(i): There were no visible gauges, audible alarms or pressure activated devices installed in paint spray booths to indicate or ensure that the required air speed was maintained. (a)Dakota Bodies, LLC at 201 20th Avenue Southeast, Watertown, SD 57201: On or about and at times prior to October 30, 2018, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from chemical hazards when performing work in the zinc rich primer spray booth in that, the booth did not have a visible gauge, audible alarm or pressure activated device to indicate or ensure that the required air speed was maintained. This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards. (b)Dakota Bodies, LLC at 201 20th Avenue Southeast, Watertown, SD 57201: On or about and at times prior to October 30, 2018, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from chemical hazards when performing work in the top coat powder spray booth in that, the booth did not have a visible gauge, audible alarm or pressure activated device to indicate or ensure that the required air speed was maintained. This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards.
