29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control: a) On or about October 23 and 24, 2018, on Line 43, employees were required to service and/or maintain the Gabler Machine and/or the associated equipment. Maintenance employees working on the Line 43 Gabler Machine and/or the associated equipment did not receive adequate training in the energy control program and recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control. The employees were thereby exposed to the hazards associated with the unexpected energization and/or startup of the machine.
