29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls are acquired by employees: a) Signal Machine Production Area - Conveyor Belt and Rollers: On or before September 19, 2018, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by, and caught-in hazards, in that the employer did not provide affected and authorized employees training to lockout the Signal Machine (S/N 60725) during troubleshooting and cleaning. b) Signal Machine Production Area - Electrical Panel Door: On or before September 19, 2018, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to electrical, struck-by, and caught-in hazards, in that the employer did not provide affected and authorized employees training to lockout the Signal Machine (S/N 60725) during troubleshooting and cleaning.
