29 CFR 1910.176(a): Where mechanical handling equipment was used, sufficient safe clearances was not allowed for aisles, at loading docks, through doorways and wherever turns or passage were made. Aisles and passageways were not kept clear and in good repair, with no obstruction across or in aisles that could create a hazard. Permanent aisles and passageways were not appropriately marked. (a) Site: In the packing department, in the vicinity of the cutter box line, in the facility at 19 Depot Street, Sutton, MA 01590, on 10/17/2018, and at times earlier, pedestrian employees and forklifts were required to operate adjacent to each other such that sufficient safe clearances were not allowed where passage had to be made, aisles and passageways were not kept clear and in good repair, with no obstruction across or in aisles that could create a hazard, and permanent aisles and passageways were not appropriately marked.
