29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Scaffolds and scaffold components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity: a) 561 Montgomery St. Jersey City, NJ Masonry employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 12 feet to the ground below due to: lack of scaffold fall protection, missing mid-rails and end-rails and proper planking as the competent person had not inspected site scaffolds for visible defects prior to work beginning on 08/24/2018. Violation occurred on or about on 08/24/2018. The E & N Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(g)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1058386, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/02/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 225 - 535 Glenwood Ave., Bloomfield NJ 07003.
