29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1)(i): The employer did not provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use PPE on knowing when PPE is necessary: Date of Violation: On or about 08-07-2018 and times prior thereto, located at Big Stone Gap Federal Building, 322 Wood Avenue W. Big Stone Gap, VA 24219, Condition: Employees were exposed to raw sewage and other potentially infectious materials during a clean-up operation from a sewer system back-up and leak in the basement of the building without the use of any personal protective equipment and was not trained to know when personal protective equipment was required. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
