29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. a. On or about July 12, 2018, located at 158 Fescue Road in Sunbury, Ohio, the employer did not instruct employees in the safe recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions for employees installing vinyl siding while working from a pump jack scaffold and ladders exposing the employees to the hazards associated with siding installation.
