29 CFR 1926.652(c)(2)(iii): Manufacturer's specifications, recommendations, and limitations, and manufacturer's approval to deviate from the specifications, recommendations, and limitations shall be in written form at the jobsite during construction of the protective system. After that time this data may be stored off the jobsite, but a copy shall be made available to the Secretary upon request. On June 25, 2018, the tabulated data was not on the job site during the construction of the tabulated data and employees were exposed to cave in and struck by hazards a protective system constructed that was approximately six feet from the bottom of the excavation, was not back filled on the sides and had bent struts.
