29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: (a) ContractOne, Inc. at 105 Base Camp Circle, Granby, CO 80446: On or before June 14, 2018, the employer did not ensure that employees were using hard hats when working in a trench. Employees were performing excavation and backfill work in the north trench. The work entailed employees heads below grade and below spoil piles. Employees did not wear hard hats. This condition exposed employees to struck-by hazards. (b) ContractOne, Inc. at 107 Base Camp Circle, Granby, CO 80446: On or before June 14, 2018, the employer did not ensure that employees were using hard hats when working in a trench.
