29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not used in continuous lengths without splice or tap: a- 1601 Long Beach Boulevard, Beach Haven NJ: On or about 05/31/18 company workers were exposed to electrocution hazards when using a portable, electric, circular saw whose flexible cord was spliced together. Condition observed on or about 05/31/18. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
