29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. On 5/4/2018, employees of Roofs by Antonio were working on the roof of a residential building located at 2108 Lee Ridge Drive, O'Fallon MO. Employees were performing roofing work 10 feet above a lower level. Exposed employees were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. The employees were observed on the roof of the building without fall protection, exposing themselves to a fall to the ground below. Roofs by Antonio, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1046922, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/15/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 200 East Home Avenue, Palatine, IL.
