29 CFR 1910.30(a)(1): (a) Training. Before any employee is exposed to a fall hazard, the employer did not provide training for each employee who uses personal fall protection systems or who is required to be trained as specified elsewhere in this subpart. Employers did not ensure employees are trained in the requirements of this paragraph on or before May 17, 2017. On or about 1/24/2018, in the transfer loading area at 7515 Industrial Blvd, Macon, GA: Employees walking, working, and operating powered industrial truck (PIT's) near the unprotected sides and edges of the transfer lower trailer bay area and transfer loading platform were exposed to a fall hazard at heights at or above 13 feet from ground level. The employer failed to provide fall protection training to protect the employees.
