29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(6): Ladders shall be used only on stable and level surfaces unless secured to prevent accidental displacement. a. On or about January 18, 2018 at the above referenced worksite, employees engaged in siding activities were using a portable extension ladder on a roof eve with a 3/12 pitch to access the second floor wall where siding was being applied/installed. The ladder was not secured from displacement and employees were thereby exposed to a fall hazard. There is no abatement certification or documentation required for this item.
