29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i): Respirators were not stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals or were not packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve: (a) Funeral Home - A 3M 6300 model tight-fitting respirator provided to an embalmer to use as required protection against formaldehyde-based products while conducting embalming operations was observed stored on a cabinet unprotected, on or about January 10, 2018. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
