29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2): Each exit was not clearly visible and marked by a sign reading "Exit": a) Building 24 - Employees work in the building, the employer did not ensure that the main exit was marked with an exit sign, on or before December 1, 2018. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- STANDARD MODIFIED VIA ISA ON 6/21/18 TO 29 CFR 1910.37(b)(5): Each doorway or passage along an exit access that could be mistaken for an exit must be marked "Not an Exit" or similar designation, or be identified by a sign indicating its actual use (e.g., closet). & AVD ALSO MODIFIED a) Floor truss building #24 - Employees work in the building, the employer did not ensure that the door at the Northwest corner of the building was marked not an exit, on or about December 1, 2017.
