29 CFR 1926.416(a)(3): Employer did not post or maintain proper warning signs at locations where the performance of the work could bring a person, tool, or machine into physical or electrical contact with an energized electrical power circuit: The employer is failing to notify employees of the existence of electrical hazards. Most recently, on or about 11/29/17, at I-44 eastbound, specifically at mile marker 275.4, the driller erected a Central Mine Equipment CME-75 Drill Rig, drill serial #183277, engine serial number 01350B6TK, into the air beneath a 12kv overhead power line (OHPL) running perpendicular to the interstate. Proper warning signs or the equivalent were not posted beforehand warning the driller of the existence of this OHPL.
