29 CFR 1910.213(d)(1): Each circular crosscut table saw shall be guarded by a hood which shall meet all the requirements of paragraph (c)(1) of this section for hoods for circular ripsaws. a) Production Department - On or about 10/5/2017 and at times prior, employees were exposed to amputation hazards, in that the overhead guard hood of the Powermatic table saw (Model # 66 & Serial # 0007066239) was allowed to be left in the open position, while employees were operating and pushing the boards through the table saw.
