29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step: a- Lot 55 - Block 242.02, 76 Monmouth Court, Sewell NJ: A company employee was exposed to fall hazards (in excess of 9 feet to the ground surface below) when using the top two steps of an A-framed ladder to access and egress the top plates of a residential structures wall frames. Condition noted on or about 09/12/17. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
