Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: For the employees mixing chemicals such as, but not limited to 100% citric acid and aromatic liquids with proprietary components, that identify eye damage or severe eye irritation as a hazard on or about August 29, 2017 and times prior there to, the employer did not provide an emergency eye wash. This exposes employees to the hazard of sustaining eye damage by not having immediate access to flush the eyes with water.
