29 CFR 1910.28(b)(8)(i): Service pits were not guarded or barricaded to prevent falls or unauthorized access: (a) Unity Southern Environmental, Inc. Facility, Garage: On or about 08/11/2017, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that the employer failed to provide a fall protection system, limit access, apply markings, or post caution signs on the service pit which was 54-inches deep.
