29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. On August 2, 2017, on the second story, 6:12 pitch steep roof, of a new construction, Texas Roadhouse brand restaurant building project in Jacksonville, Florida, a subcontracted employee was working to install roof sheathing panels without fall protection and exposed to a 23-foot, 4-inch fall hazard to the concrete floor below. Buffalo Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 943973, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on January 2, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 8380 N. Booth, Kansas City, Missouri 64158.
