29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) South side of roof, east end, on or about 7-20-17: Four employees were working at the edge of a barrel roof and were not protected from falls, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of 26 feet 3 inches to the ground below. b) South side of roof, west end, on or about 7-20-17: Four employees were working at the edge of a barrel roof and were not protected from falls, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of 10 feet 8 inches to a lower roof.
