29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled equipment was not installed and used in accordance with any instructions included in the listing and labeling. Instance #1) On or about 07-17-2017 and times prior thereto, located at U.S. Postal Service Sandston Distribution Center, 5801 Technology Blvd. Sandston, VA 23150, Condition: Employee(s) were exposed to electrical and fire hazards from an electrical surge protector supplying 110 Volts to a second electrical surge protector that was supplying electrical current to office desk equipment. Instance #2) On or about 07-17-2017 and times prior thereto, located at U.S. Postal Service Sandston Distribution Center, 5801 Technology Blvd. Sandston, VA 23150, Condition: Employee(s) were exposed to electrical and fire hazards from a temporary electrical cord supplying 110 Volts to two other surge protectors in a "daisy chained" fashion. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
