OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: On or about 20 July 2017, and at times prior thereto, four employees were picking up residential and industrial trash on the side of highways where vehicles pass close to employees without using high visibility vests, exposing employees to the hazards of being struck by motor vehicles.
