29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was four feet (1.2m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Plant, Line #40 - On or about 05/25/17 and at times prior thereto employees climbed on top of the control box for the rollers to adjust the cut film, and were exposed to falls from a 4.0 ft. 6.0 in. elevation onto the concrete floor. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
